PEACE PARK RULES

People stopped skating in Peace Park because it was illegal and the penalty for skating was a ticket for over $600 dollars. Skateboarding was legalized in the park to bring a balance and life back into the park.

We would like to reminder the skateboard community that this miracle privilege can easily be taken away if skaters do not respect the laws. If the skaters start being perceived as a problem instead of as a part of the solution skateboarding will revert to being illegal in the park.

The rules are simple, please respect them.

1. It is not a skate park; people walking or sitting have priority.
2. Skateboarding is only permitted between 10am to 9pm
3. No drinking or drugs in the park.
4. Clean up your garbage.
